The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has launched a new call for proposals, ‘I’ll Ask AI’, through the Jan Amos Comenius Operational Programme. 300 million czech koruna from European funds has been earmarked for projects that will help schools integrate artificial intelligence into teaching and the day-to-day running of schools in a practical, meaningful and safe manner. The deadline for submitting applications is 30 December 2026.
The call for applications is aimed at nursery, primary and secondary schools, as well as conservatoires, which wish to use modern technology in a well-considered, safe manner and in line with their educational objectives. The funding will focus on expert guidance and methodological support for the planning and implementation of AI within school life – the projects are designed to help schools develop their own internal guidelines for the safe use of AI, whilst also strengthening the professional development of both school leaders and teaching staff.
Participation in the project is intended to benefit the entire school community. School management will receive support in developing their own vision for the use of artificial intelligence, whilst teaching staff will gain practical experience with tools that can be used in lesson preparation, the creation of teaching materials, assessment and the personalisation of education. The project aims to provide children and pupils with more modern teaching that better responds to their individual needs, and to give parents greater assurance that the school is approaching the use of artificial intelligence responsibly and safely.

Applications for funding may be submitted via the ISKP21+ system by 2.00 pm on 30 December 2026 at the latest.
