The EnCLOD project (Enhancing governance Capacities of local authorities using Open Data) focuses on promoting better public administration through open data obtained from standard IoT sensor networks in cities. The aim is to create an infrastructure for data collection and sharing that will enable the development of universal software tools and applications for spatial planning, resource management and sustainability. This approach, much like the standardisation of smartphones, supports the creation of accessible and portable digital solutions for various areas of public administration. The project is being carried out by a group of 10 partners; in the Czech Republic, these are Palacký University in Olomouc and the companies CityOne and CITIQ. The administrative and financial management of the project is handled by staff at the UP Project Service.
