On May 13, 2026, the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, announced the fourth public call for proposals under the Program to Support Applied Research and Innovation in the Field of Transport – TRANSPORT 2030. The main objective of the program is to develop the transport sector in a way that reflects societal needs, accelerates technological and knowledge development in the Czech Republic, and helps increase the country’s competitiveness. Interested parties can participate in an online informational webinar, which will take place on May 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

The outputs/results of project proposals submitted to this public call must have the potential for further application in new approaches, technological processes, and services leading to the strengthening of social and economic benefits in the transport sector.
Applicants may apply in this call for an application guarantee from the Ministry of Transport.& The Ministry of Transport will provide application guarantees for those project proposals whose outputs/results are demonstrably applicable by the Ministry of Transport. Application requirements and further information on the approval process can be found on the TA ČR website.
TAČR is organizing an online informational webinar for interested parties and potential applicants for this call, during which participants will learn about the focus and conditions of the public competition.

This public competition is announced in the TA ČR – SISTA shared information system.
In order for an applicant to create and submit a project proposal, they must meet the system’s new technical requirements—e.g., register their organization and designate its administrators. Without registering the organization and adding organization administrators, it will not be possible to submit a project proposal or draw public funds for applied research projects. For project registration purposes, please note that you must make the project proposal available in SISTA via email to: ludmila.hrabakova@upol.cz. Without this step, it will not be possible to ensure adequate cooperation from UPOL when submitting the project proposal. Projects in which UPOL acts only as a partner must also be made available.
The competition period begins on May 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. and ends on July 8, 2026, at the times listed below:
- 4:29:59 p.m. – is the latest possible time for submitting a project proposal via the SISTA information system;
- 11:59:59 p.m. – is the latest possible time for submitting documents proving eligibility, which each applicant must submit separately.
