With the arrival of September, the academic year is gathering pace. Students are returning to university campuses and lecture theatres, teaching is getting under way, and with it the usual routine of the new semester. However, the post-holiday period also provides a boost for academics and researchers. The start of autumn is traditionally marked by workshops, seminars and conferences, all aimed at a single goal – how to take a good idea further and turn it into a funded project.
This is precisely what Open Day of the Project Service at Palacký University in Olomouc, which will take place on Thursday 17 September 2026 from 10:00 to 15:00& at Křížkovského 8 (Entrance D in the Palacký University Rectorate building).
The aim of the event is to provide a detailed overview of the facilities and project support options we offer to academics, researchers and other university staff, whilst also creating an informal space for discussion of your specific plans.
As part of the programme, we will offer you:
- Information on the range of services offered by the UP Project Support Office during both the preparation phase and the actual implementation of projects
- A space for individual consultations on your project plans
- A tour of our premises and the chance to browse through our publications and promotional materials
- The opportunity to meet the staff of PS UP in person
