According to the order of the government of Russian Federation No. 2989-р of December 28, 2018 it is planned to hold an international conference "Dostoevsky through the Ages and Generations" devoted to the 200th anniversary of F.M. Dostoevsky at Dostoevsky Omsk State University (OmSU) on November 11-14, 2021.
Specialists in literature, linguists, historians, ethnographers, art specialists, culture experts and representatives of other sciences to participate in the conference.
The purpose of the conference is to study the heritage of F.M. Dostoevsky. The plan is to work on the following sections:
- Fyodor Dostoevsky and his legacy in the world and Russian culture.
- Dostoevsky in religious and philosophical thought.
- Dostoevsky's poetics (narration, genre, style).
- Unknown pages of the life and work of Fyodor Dostoevsky.
- Dostoevsky and "the soul of the city". The phenomenon of the Siberian space in the life and work of the writer.
- Dostoevsky in the educational paradigm.
- Dostoevsky and Russian linguistic consciousness.
- "The Diary of a Writer" as a literary and philosophical phenomenon.
- Dostoevsky and fine arts. The writer as an art critic.
- Dostoevsky: a view from the future (the youth discussion platform).
Applications in Russian for the participation in the conference will be accepted until September 1, 2021 by e-mail fmdostocentr@yandex.ru (with the topic "Достоевский в смене эпох и поколений") with the following data: a full name (surname, name and middle/patronymic name), place of work/study, position, academic title, academic degree; the topic of the report, its theses; contact telephone numbers (including mobile), e-mail and postal address; the need for the technical equipment (screen projector, laptop); the place in the hotel or at the dormitory. Applications in English will be accepted until September 1, 2021 by e-mail omp.omsu@mail.ru (with the topic "Dostoevsky through the Ages and Generations").
The expenses for participation in the conference (flight, accommodation, meals) will be partially or fully covered for those participants whose reports will be selected by the organizing committee. It is planned to organize a cultural program for the guests of the conference.
