Konference
The history of the European Union can be written based on its expansion, treatises, and crises. Since the end of the Cold War, Europe has undergone a rapid and dynamic development. The EU was created and later expanded to Central and Eastern Europe in record numbers. This was followed by the Treaty of Lisbon, the migrant crisis, the coronavirus pandemic, and, currently, the war in Ukraine. There have been multiple internal and external influences on the dynamic development in Europe, among them social movements engaged in issues such as climate change, minority and women’s rights, and sexual abuse. The development of Europe over the last three decades is the principal focus of the Scholar Conference during the Euroculture Intensive Programme (IP).
Conference is part of celebration of 25th anniversary of Euroculture programme.
