The Palacký University Academic Week annually commemorates the re-establishment of Palacký University Olomouc in 1946, when on 21 February the bells of all Olomouc churches rang out in honour of this event. The University regularly organises a number of cultural, scientific and social activities on this date, to which the public is also invited.

Monday, 19 February | 7 pm | Jazz Tibet Club
The UP Academic Week is not only about celebrating the anniversary of the renewal of Palacký University after 1946 but also about the traditional special Pub Quiz with Palacký University! Put together a team and become the winner of the contest of knowledge, wit and guts! There will be the usual five rounds and fifty-six questions focused on the topics of the university, Olomouc, and others. A maximum of six-member teams can apply (capacity is limited, so don't hesitate), most of which must be students or employees of Palacký University.
The top ten teams can expect great prizes from UPoint and other quiz partners.
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
The quiz is open to everyone. Teams of up to six members can compete. The number of teams is limited by the capacity of the Jazz Tibet Club to 15 teams. There are 56 standard questions in five rounds, including music and picture recognition.
You can register your teams in the comments section of the FB event in the form of "team name" and "number of team members". The registration fee is, as usual, a symbolic 100 CZK / competitor.
