The fifth international call for proposals under the European Water4All Partnership, ‘Call 2026: Sustainable Water Management’, has been open since 8 September. The call focuses on sustainable water management. The deadline for submitting short project proposals (so-called ‘pre-proposals’) is 10 November 2026.

- Integrated Monitoring and Assessment for Sustainable Water Management
- Nature-Based Approaches for Resilient Water Management at Hydrological and hydrogeological system scale
- Smart, secure and adaptive water infrastructures for sustainable water management
- Resilient Water Systems Through Systemic Change, Policy Coherence and Inclusive Governance
The total funding available from TA ČR for the Water4All Call 2026 for Czech applicants is 500 000 EUR. The maximum amount of funding per project is 160,000 EUR. The maximum permitted funding intensity for the Czech side of the project is 80% of the total eligible project costs.
The call is governed by international rules common to applicants from all participating countries. In addition to the international rules, Czech applicants must also meet the national conditions set by the relevant national funding body. Czech applicants will therefore have to meet the national conditions based on the SIGMA Programme (Sub-objective 4 – International Cooperation), from which we will provide financial support to successful Czech projects. Both research organisations and enterprises may act as Czech applicants.
Projects may be submitted by international consortia comprising at least three eligible partners from at least three participating countries (of which at least two must be EU Member States or EU associated countries). The maximum number of eligible project partners in a consortium is 7, including 1 potential self-financed partner.
