The Nationality Rooms Program is proud to announce the Ruth Crawford Mitchell Fellowship for Czech or Slovak professionals to conduct research at the University of Pittsburgh during the 2021 Fall Term (late August to mid-December). The amount of the award is $7,000. A key component of this fellowship is that the applicant will connect with a University of Pittsburgh faculty member who will agree to serve as both advisor and mentor to the applicant. The scholar must include a reference from a University of Pittsburgh faculty member as part of the application. The submission date is March 30, 2021. Applicants will be notified of their status at the end of April 2021.

We invite your assistance in distributing this announcement to eligible and promising candidates in the fields of government, economic, commercial or other professions (students are not eligible) from the Czech or Slovak Republic. The details of the Ruth Crawford Mitchell Fellowship can be found here.

Completed applications and accompanying documents must be addressed to Ms. Cristina Lagnese at mcl38@pitt.edu.

Questions about the application process may also be addressed to Ms. Cristina Lagnese.
