Celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science with us!

For the second time, the university invites you to a unique panel discussion featuring inspiring female scientists from Palacký University. This year’s edition shines a spotlight on women researchers from abroad. Join us to explore not only what it means to be a woman in science, but also fascinating insights from a wide range of scientific fields.

Meet an exceptional panel of experts: international law specialist Alla Fedorova, American studies scholar and historical comics creator Elizabeth Woock, plant scientist Nuria de Diego Sanchez, who studies how plants respond to stress, Natálie Kaščáková, focusing on psychology od trauma, and Huang Xiao Rui, specializing in clinical rehabilitation. The discussion will be moderated by Selma Porobič.

To make the event accessible for everyone, free childcare will be available during the discussion in the exhibitions of the Fort Science (Pevnost poznání). The debate will be held in English.
