Lenten artistic intervention in the Church of Our Lady of the Snows
For the eighth time, the Olomouc Academic Parish has invited contemporary artists to the church to enrich the Baroque interior of the church with an artistic intervention for several weeks.
This year, the parish has established a collaboration with the creative duo - painter, writer and university teacher Patrik Hábl and writer, slammer, poet, musician, visual artist, architect and acting poet of the city of Prague 2026 Anna Beata Háblová.
Patrik and Anna Beata Hábl have already exhibited together in several galleries, but in Sněženka this is the first time that they have really embarked on painting together and created a unified composition of six monochrome golden surfaces with embedded poems for the church space. The gold color with white traces responds to the gold-decorated interior of the church, the poems carried by the surfaces refer to hope.
