The people of Ukraine are facing their fifth winter of war. Targeted Russian attacks on energy infrastructure are depriving locals of electricity and gas. Palacký University has therefore joined forces with the Olomouc scouts, and on Sunday, February 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., we will be making trench candles together at the UP Student Club in Zbrojnice. A single candle can burn for hours, heating a room, warming food, or serving as a source of light. Bring your classmates, friends, and children, and help bring warmth back to those suffering due to the war.
