This year, the CATRIN Institute at Palacký University in Olomouc decided to connect the worlds of science and culture with the opportunity to support a good cause, specifically the non-profit organization Úsměv mámy, z.s., which is the only organization in the Czech Republic that has long been systematically dedicated to the mental health of women during pregnancy and after childbirth. 

That is why CATRIN, together with Úsměv mámy, has decided to organize a social evening on February 27, 2026, with the aim of not only supporting this non-profit organization, but also drawing attention to an issue that is often overlooked in our society.
The proceeds from this charity ball will help Úsměv mámy continue its work, which is changing the lives of women and their families.
