The Energy Living Lab of the Olomouc Region is an innovative project focused on supporting the energy transition of public buildings in the Olomouc Region. The project responds to the climate crisis and the growing need for energy self-sufficiency in Europe. It establishes Living Lab, which connects experts from the technical, legal, and financial fields with public institutions and building owners. The goal is to develop and implement effective energy-saving measures, including capacity building, monitoring, and the sharing of best practices. The project is funded by the LIFE Clean Energy Transition (LIFE-2023-CET) and will run from October 2024 to September 2027. The main partners are the Olomouc Region, Palacký University in Olomouc, the Olomouc Region Innovation Center, and Ensytra s.r.o..
