The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA ČR) is informing beneficiaries about a new method for submitting Reports on the Use of Results (previously known as Implementation Reports) for the year 2026. These changes are taking place as a result of the migration of project data from ISTA to SISTA. In the article on the TA ČR website, you will find an overview of the changes to this process for 2026 and an outlook for the coming years.
In 2026, TA ČR will move away from the term implementation, replacing it with the phrase utilisation of results. TA ČR believes that this minor change in terminology will lead to a better understanding of the content.
A quick overview of changes to the submission of Reports on the utilisation of results:
• extension of the deadline to 30 September 2026
• completing the form in LimeSurvey (preview PDF HERE, is not intended to be completed)
• editing the content of the report
• changes to the number of reports submitted from 3 to 2
• extension of the deadline to 30 September 2026
• projects under the TREND Programme – neither the report (i.e. the Project Benefits Table) nor the number of reports will change for this programme; please submit the report via the data box
• Projects under the National Centres of Competence Programme will submit multiple Reports on the Use of Results, one for each sub-project
• A future change to the method of submitting reports
The individual points are discussed in detail below.
Submission of Reports on the Use of Results in 2026
This year’s submission of the Report on the Use of Results (formerly the Implementation Report) will take place via a form in LimeSurvey. The procedure is as follows:
- The form was sent by TA ČR to project owners in a separate email on 1 July 2026 from the address evaluace. research@tacr.cz – if the project owner has changed, please contact us at the address given above;
- THE FORM MAY BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED BY ONLY ONE PERSON! Please note that if the form for a single project is completed by multiple people from different IP addresses, this may result in the loss of the data entered in the form. Therefore, please choose just one person to complete the form. The project owner may forward an email containing a link to the form to this person;
- The form is pre-configured for your specific project; for example, it contains pre-filled information about the project’s results;
- Once you have completed the form, click the ‘Submit’ button, at which point the report is considered to have been submitted;
- There is NO need to send the submitted form or the confirmation to TA ČR;
- The deadline for submitting the report is 30 September 2026.
Submission of Reports for projects under the TREND Programme
The report on the utilisation of results (i.e. the Project Benefits Table) is to be completed and submitted as follows:
- complete the standard Form F-431 – Project Benefits Table – for the TREND Programme
- save it in XLSX/XLS (Excel) format
- include the project code in the file name
- send it via data box to the TA ČR address (data box address: afth9xp)
- the deadline for submitting the report is 30 September 2026.
Changes to the number of reports to be submitted
In future, reports will be submitted directly via SISTA using an interactive form, the content of which has been improved based on new requirements and experience with the previous form. The number of reports will also be reduced from 3 to 2, and the submission deadline will be linked to the completion of the project. Once the transition to SISTA is fully complete, the project rapporteur will comment on the reports.
The first Report on the Use of Results will be submitted 18 months after the project completion date; beneficiaries will have an additional month to prepare the report. The second report will be submitted 12 or 24 months after the submission of the first report; beneficiaries will be able to choose the deadline themselves, according to their needs.
IMPORTANT: For projects that are already in the utilisation phase (formerly the implementation phase), the transition will take place gradually (as of now) and on a case-by-case basis according to the current status:
- Projects that have already submitted their first report will be able to choose the deadline for submitting their second report and will submit only two reports. The first question in this year’s questionnaire will therefore be whether they will submit the report this year or next year.
- For projects that have already submitted two implementation reports, it will still be necessary to submit a third report.
