Dear readers,

while the mercury in thermometers is hitting record highs, the university hallways and courtyards are slowly but surely settling into a more relaxed summer rhythm. Hot summer days call for some serious refreshment, and I believe we have just the thing to offer you. The PS UP Informuje Bulletin is debuting a new visual style, which we hope will make your summer reading more enjoyable.

And what interesting topics will you find in the current issue?

The international ChinGram project is transforming Chinese language instruction across Europe, and three years of work by five European teams are now culminating in the launch of a unique online platform. The sixth edition of the UP Junior Grant attracted significant interest from young researchers—how many proposals were accepted? In our overview, we’ll also take a look at the newly launched Industrial Chairs competition and introduce the European Research Council’s pilot call for new ERC Plus grants, which significantly push the boundaries of existing ERC programs.
