Dear readers,

We are pleased to present the fourth issue of this year’s PS UP Informuje newsletter. The period at the turn of March and April was exceptionally busy for the project sector. Looming deadlines brought with them a significant effort to submit projects of the highest possible quality. This is evidenced by the fact that 180 project applications were submitted on behalf of Palacký University Olomouc to the GA ČR competitions.

As the saying goes, “something old ends and something new begins,” which holds doubly true in the scientific world. While we are relieved to be wrapping up this demanding phase of preparations, new challenges are already looming on the horizon, demanding our attention and timely preparation. It is precisely in this cycle that it is easy to lose perspective. Try, however, to pause for a moment and view this springtime hustle and bustle as a source of new inspiration.

Did you know, for example, that the university offers a series of workshops focused on balancing personal and professional life? Two more courses on this topic will take place in June. For young junior researchers, doctoral students, and academics, opportunities are opening up to receive prestigious scholarships through the MSCA and Fulbright Commission programs.
