Mgr. Alena Vyskočilová, DiS.

Alena Vyskočilvá is the founder and Head of the Welcome Office, where she provides strategic leadership for the institution’s internationalization agenda. Since establishing the office, she has developed and implemented a comprehensive framework for supporting international students, researchers, and staff, and for strengthening services for the broader international community. She leads a portfolio of international projects, including initiatives funded through European Commission programmes, and advances transnational partnerships and Unified Contact Points initiatives across diverse thematic areas.

Mgr. Pavel Flekač

Pavel Flekač is the Coordinator of the Welcome Office, overseeing day-to-day operations and contributing to the department’s strategic role in supporting international communities. He maintains regular communication with the Ministry of the Interior and its regional branches, as well as with Czech embassies abroad, particularly on visa and residence procedures. He also coordinates international projects for Palacký University Olomouc, focusing on initiatives that strengthen international community support and advance research- and education-oriented programmes.

Mgr. Anna-Marie Konečná

Anna-Marie Konečná serves as Coordinator of the Alumni Branch at Palacký University, where she is responsible for strategic communication and networking with current and former international alumni, event organisation, and website maintenance. She also oversees communication with international students and staff and provides individual support and guidance, including liaison with relevant legal authorities. In addition, she contributes to project initiatives and the structural planning of events, workshops, and cultural-educational activities.

Mgr. Inna Arakelova

Inna Arakelova supports the Welcome Office’s digital communication with a primary focus on social media. Drawing on her background in media and culture, she applies informed perspectives on contemporary trends and intercultural approaches in public relations to develop and curate content for international communities. Her responsibilities include visual design, the creation of online graphics, and the preparation of communication materials for digital channels.

Mgr. Veronika Poláková

Veronika is responsible for resolving issues within the Human Resources Office and addressing the needs of international staff and academics at Palacký University. During her leisure time, she really enjoys cycling and reading.
