Parin Somaiya

Hello! I'm Parin Somaiya, and I am currently a third year Bachelor’s Degree student in Petroleum Engineering at Palacký University in Olomouc.

Originally from India, I embarked on my academic journey in the Czech Republic with a desire to broaden my horizons, embrace new perspectives, and develop both personally and professionally. Studying in an international environment has allowed me to appreciate the richness of cultural diversity and the importance of open-mindedness, adaptability, and mutual understanding. I believe that the transition to life in a new country becomes considerably easier when students have access to guidance, encouragement, and a supportive community.

As a Welcome Office Ambassador, I am delighted to contribute to that sense of belonging by sharing my experiences and helping fellow international students navigate university life in Olomouc. I hope to encourage newcomers to approach this exciting chapter with confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
