Upcoming ERDERA Clinical Trial Call 2026, Webinar Date

The European Rare Diseases Research Alliance (ERDERA) will announce a new call—Clinical Trial Call 2026 (ECTC), which will support multinational Phase I, Phase I/II, and Phase II interventional clinical trials in the field of rare diseases conducted in accordance with the principles of good clinical practice. The deadline for submitting a complete project proposal is set for the period from July to September 2027.

The aim of the call is to address key challenges in clinical trials in the field of rare diseases, where patient groups are often small and geographically dispersed, and international collaboration is essential.& nbsp;The purpose is to generate reliable clinical evidence and, where applicable, data relevant to regulatory authorities to support future interaction with regulatory authorities and subsequent clinical development.

 

Applications concerning all eligible rare diseases are welcome. In particular, the call supports proposals focused on:

  • Rare diseases in children
  • Rapidly progressive rare diseases
  • Rare diseases for which there are no approved treatment options or for which, despite existing treatments,there is a significant unmet medical need

 

Applicants may include research organizations, universities, hospitals, and other eligible institutions from participating countries (including the Czech Republic).

 

For those interested in the call, an information webinar will be held on July 6  nbsp;July from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. CEST an informational webinar will be held, during which the call’s conditions, applicant eligibility rules, the evaluation process, and other necessary details will be presented.
