On 24 and 25 September 2026, organised by the Palacký University Project Service, Eva Novosádová, Terezie Řezníčková, Ph.D., and Martina Kleislová took part in a meeting of university project centres. The meeting, organised by the University of Hradec Králové, provided a forum for sharing experiences and examples of good practice and, above all, for discussing current issues in project management. Together with representatives from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT) and other public universities, the participants addressed a range of topics that are currently influencing the preparation and implementation of projects at universities.
The first day was devoted to the latest news and information from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT), including the draft framework for the Higher Education Programme (ZVŠ), the forthcoming EEA call for proposals on Pedagogical Competences, and the Programme Management Plan (PPSŘ). The afternoon programme featured information from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT) – the Managing Authority of the Operational Programme ‘JAK’. Topics discussed included, for example, the forthcoming calls Education for Practice and Life, Open Science III, Pedagogical Research, MSCA and Research Infrastructures, as well as sanctions and issues relating to DNSH within the OP JAK, the preparation of DNSH within the the European Commission, the ISKP21+ system and the outlook for the 2028+ period. A separate part of the programme was also devoted to the increasingly topical issue of the use of AI in project management.
The second day was devoted to discussions on current issues facing higher education institutions and the sharing of examples of good practice. Attention was focused, for example, on HR Award certification and the sustainability of OP VVV projects, as well as attendance systems and internal project records.
The meeting once again confirmed the importance of mutual cooperation, the sharing of experiences and open communication between project units at universities.
