A BRIDGES partner exchange focusing on the calls under Cluster 4 of the Horizon Europe programme will take place in Munich on 21– 22 October 2026, the BRIDGES partnership fair will take place, focusing on the calls for proposals under Cluster 4 of the Horizon Europe programme in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics and data processing. Participants can look forward to an intensive two-day programme that will transform initial networking into the practical preparation of project proposals under the guidance of experts on site. Those interested can register only until 2 September 2026.
The programme follows on from the June online meetings Bridging the Horizon and is aimed at experienced coordinators and consortium partners who wish to take their project ideas from initial contacts to concrete, competitive proposals. It will focus on four selected calls under Cluster 4 in the fields of AI, robotics and data processing:
- AI-Driven Robotics for Industry: Enabling System Integration and Adoption (HORIZON-CL4-2027-04-DIGITAL-EMERGING-05) – Call details
- Human/AI Collaboration for the Workforce of the Future (HORIZON-CL4-2027-02-DIGITAL-EMERGING-52-two-stage) – Call details
- Decentralised, Federated and Sustainable AI Data Processing (HORIZON-CL4-2027-04-DATA-03) – Call details
- Demand-Side 3C Pilot Demonstrators on Converged Telco Edge Cloud Infrastructure (HORIZON-CL4-2027-04-DATA-08) – Call details
The two-day programme is designed to help participants turn initial contacts into structured and competitive project proposals. It will include an insight into the evaluators’ expectations and how to tailor selected Cluster 4 calls so that the project proposal aligns with their strategic priorities. Under the guidance of experts in project proposal writing, participants will also focus on the actual preparation of the proposal – from an abstract concept through to a concrete project design – and this will be complemented by specialist seminars focusing on the management of large-scale European projects, including budget management, work packages and risks.
Applications may be submitted until 2 September 2026, and successful candidates will be notified of the selection results on 8 September 2026. An introductory online webinar will be held on 16 September 2026 for selected participants. Participation in the programme, which is estimated to be worth approximately 1,050 EUR per person, is free of charge for selected applicants. In addition, up to 18 participants (9 from the EU and 9 from Israel) may receive a travel grant of up to 750 EUR to cover transport and accommodation costs.
The event is organised by EIT HUB Israel, ISERD (Israel-Europe Research and Innovation Directorate), the Delegation of the European Union to Israel and the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR).
