Interreg Danube - opening of the 3rd call

The Interreg Danube International Programme has launched the 3rd Programme Call for proposals for partnership projects that contribute to the development of a more innovative, sustainable and social Danube region.

The current call focuses on the following priority areas:

SO 1.2 Developing skills for smart specialisation, industrial transition and entrepreneurship
SO 2.1 Greening the energy and transport sectors in the Danube Region by enhancing the integration of renewable energy sources
SO 2.2 Promoting climate change adaptation and disaster management on transnational level
SO 2.3 Sustainable, integrated, transnational water and sediment management in the Danube River Basin
SO 3.1 Accessible, inclusive and effective labour markets
SO 3.2 Accessible and inclusive quality services in education, training and lifelong learning
SO 4.2 Increased institutional capacities for territorial and macroregional governance

Each project must include at least 3 directly funded project partners from three different countries of the programme area: a lead partner and

The maximum rate of funding from EU funds is 80%. The expected duration of the project is 30 months.

Applications can be submitted until 15 December 2025 (14:00 CET) via the online JEMS application.
