A new call for proposals has been announced under the Interreg Czech-Polish Cross-border Cooperation Programme, specifically in the 1 Integrated Rescue System and the Environment priority area, specific objective 1.2 More coordinated approach to environmental protection in the Czech-Polish border area.
The objective of the call is to strengthen natural water retention and mitigate the impacts of flood events through conceptual and field measures. Supported activities include:
- planning and preparation of water retention measures in the landscape,
- implementation of specific measures in the field.
The call allows for funding of up to 80 % of the project budget from ERDF funds. Applicants must first submit a project plan by November 5, 2025 and the application itself by March 11, 2026.
For those interested, an online training session for applicants will be held on May 26 2025.
