The Grant Agency of the Czech Republic (GA CR), in cooperation with the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), is announcing a call for project proposals based on the Lead Agency evaluation principle, with an expected start date in 2027. In this call, GA ČR acts as a partner organization – projects are evaluated by FNR and GA ČR adopts the evaluation results. The call is announced as part of the Weave initiative. The deadline for submitting project proposals begins on December 18, 2025. nbsp;The Czech part of the project proposal can be submitted no later than April 28, 2026, i.e., 7 days after the official deadline set by the FNR for Luxembourg applicants on April 21, 2026.
Affidavits / declarations of eligibility for the competition will be provided by UPOL. nbsp;All documents to be sent via data box must be delivered to ludmila.hrabakova@upol.cz no later than the specified deadline at 12:00 noon.
Please note that in the GRIS project submission application, the project must be created in the Lead Agency – Partner Organization – 2027 – NCN (Poland) / FNR (Luxembourg) call.

Please send your affidavits/declarations of eligibility to the GA ČR data box with the identifier a8uadk4 by April 28, 2026, at the latest. The subject of the message should be "Eligibility – FNR – 2027". It is also necessary to provide a complete extract from the register of beneficial owners of the applicant.
Projects are for a maximum of three years, with GA ČR allowing a project duration of 24 or 36 months. The duration must be the same for all researchers.
