ERC Starting & Consolidator – preparatory workshops 2026

The Technology Center Prague, in cooperation with the ERC Expert Group, will open registration for preparatory workshops for ERC Starting and Consolidator applicants on March 16, 2026 (from 12:00 p.m.) Consolidator applicants for the ERC 2027 calls. The first round of workshops will take place on April 22-24, 2026.

 

The acceptance of applicants will be based on the ongoing assessment of the submitted materials. For this reason, it is necessary to prepare the required materials and register in a timely manner – preferably immediately on March 16, 2026.

 

The application must include the name of the project, its acronym and abstract, as well as the applicant's CV and track record, all in the format and according to the rules of the ERC (see attachments).

Only applicants with knowledge of ERC grants who are already at an advanced stage of project preparation should attend the workshops. The workshops are not intended for applicants without knowledge of ERC grants. In the event of low-quality materials being submitted, the Expert Group reserves the right to reject such applicants.

 

Important for UP

Before registering, it is necessary to:

  • obtain the approval of the faculty/institute management,
  • submit the documents to the faculty's R&D department,
  • send the approved materials to the ERC contact person by March 16, 2026 - ondrej.nemcak@upol.cz
