The March deadline for submitting applications for the Erasmus+ Partnerships for Cooperation (KA2) call has passed. Palacký University submitted a total of 20 project applications for this year’s call. Decisions on the approval or rejection of projects are expected between May and June.
List of projects submitted by UP
The projects were submitted across three areas of the call: Partnerships for Cooperation (KA2) – HED, SCH, and YOU. The individual areas differ according to the target group (higher education, school education, youth). The largest number of submitted projects was in the area of higher education. This type of project provides universities and other organizations with opportunities for international cooperation. Partners share experiences, jointly develop new methodologies, innovate the higher education environment, and thus contribute to improving the quality of education in individual European countries.
Partnerships in Higher Education (KA220-HED)
Objective:
- to improve the quality and relevance of higher education;
- to support innovation in teaching and the development of modern educational methods, including digital tools;
- strengthening international cooperation between higher education institutions and other partners;
- developing an open, inclusive, and sustainable environment in higher education
Partnerships in School Education (KA220-SCH)
Objective:
- improving the quality and inclusivity of school education;
- supporting the professional development of teachers and other education staff;
- developing innovative teaching methods and students’ key competencies;
- strengthening cooperation between schools and other organizations at the national and international levels
Youth Partnerships (KA220-YOU)
Objective:
- to improve the quality of the work, activities, and practices of participating organizations and institutions and to open up to new actors who do not naturally fall within a single sector;
- building the capacity of organizations for transnational and cross-sectoral cooperation;
- addressing common needs and priorities in the fields of education, vocational training, youth, and sport;
- enabling transformation and change (at the individual, organizational, or sectoral level) that will lead to improvements and new approaches, in line with the context of each organization
Cooperative Partnerships
The aim of this type of partnership is to improve the quality of the activities of the participating organizations and to increase their capacity for international cooperation. In this type of project, the creation of innovative methods and the intensive dissemination and use of the key outputs produced are expected. The project duration ranges from 12 to 36 months and the project partnership must consist of at least 3 organizations from 3 different program countries. Applicants select, based on the scope of their planned project activities, from three lump-sum amounts corresponding to the total grant amount for the project—120, 000 EUR, 250 000 EUR or 400 000 EUR.
