The European Innovation Council is organizing an information day for those interested in this year's call for proposals EIC Pathfinder Challenges, which is scheduled to open on July 28, 2026. The event will present the EIC Pathfinder Challenges program and the specifics of the calls in the thematic areas defined for this year. Interested parties can also sign up for a matchmaking session and briefly present their competencies to potential project partners.
The program managers responsible for the 2026 calls will present these areas in individual contributions:
- Advanced Materials for Miniaturized Energy Harvesting Systems: development of a new generation of advanced materials that will enable the creation of significantly more powerful miniaturized integrated devices for energy harvesting
- Biotechnology for Healthy Aging: development of biopharmaceutical solutions for healthy aging
- DeepRAP: Deep Reasoning, Abstraction & Planning towards trustworthy Cognitive AI Systems: significant progress in the capabilities of AI systems in the areas of reasoning, abstraction, and planning

The aim of EIC Pathfinder projects is to confirm the principle and verify the scientific basis for a new breakthrough technology. Projects under EIC Pathfinder Challenges must focus on one of the above thematic areas.
