Czech-German Projects Under the Mobility 2027–2028 Initiative

The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Czech Republic has announced the call for proposals “8J26DE” for the submission of grant applications for the implementation of bilateral Czech-German research, development, and innovation projects within the framework of the activity “Support for the Mobility of Researchers within the Context of International Cooperation in R&D. The projects will be implemented in the period 2026–2027. The deadline for submitting applications is June 30, 2026.

 

The support is intended for establishing contacts and developing cooperation between institutions active in the field of research, development, and innovation in the Czech Republic and Germany. Funding is focused on supporting the mobility of researchers involved in joint international research projects.

 

Czech applicants submit their applications to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT). At the same time, the foreign partner submits a project proposal to the German funding agency DAAD in accordance with its national rules. Only projects approved by both parties are eligible for support.

 

Grant applications must be submitted in English (unless otherwise specified).
