Dear readers,

With summer approaching, everything around us is coming to life. The past month was also marked by a sense of movement—our academic community was energized by several fantastic events. The AFO Festival, UP’s Olomouc May Day Festival, Sports Day, and the traditional May “Do práce na kole” challenge, in which our Project Services team also participated. And the result? Just under 800 green kilometers and 4th place in the Regularity category across the entire university!

Of course, we’re not just keeping up the pace on our bikes. New grant calls are slowly but surely getting underway, and we’ll try to give you an overview of them in the latest issue of PS UP Informuje. For young researchers, the 6th edition of the UP Junior Grant is now open, offering a great opportunity for scientific independence. If you’re planning to develop international collaboration and establish contacts abroad, don’t miss the newly opened calls from the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Czech Republic. And for those of you working on technological and environmental topics, the European call for proposals in the field of clean energy, the CET Partnership Call 2026, is now open.

So whether you’re planning to submit a new project or want to successfully complete your existing ones by summer, our team is ready to help you with everything.
