The ERDERA partnership challenge aims to:
- respond to the needs of patients with rare diseases and enable researchers to create effective, transnational, interdisciplinary research collaborations based on common interests and the sharing of expertise.
- Addressing undiagnosed rare genetic diseases and dealing with complex rare non-genetic diseases by identifying causal variants in patients for whom a molecular diagnosis has not been established by previous genetic or genomic testing, thus providing diagnostic certainty in conditions where a molecular diagnosis has not been established by previous genetic or genomic testing. for whom no molecular diagnosis has been established after previous genetic or genomic testing, and thus provide diagnostic certainty in cases with unknown or mixed pathogenesis.
The national budget allocation for the call is EUR 500,000. The maximum amount of support per project is EUR 250,000.
