Naomi Madrid
Hello! I am Naomi Madrid from Spain and the Philippines! I am a medical student at Palacký University and one of the International Student Ambassadors from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
Moving to the Czech Republic to pursue my studies was my first experience living alone and being away from my family. As international students, we encounter new experiences, face unfamiliar challenges, and suddenly find ourselves having to figure everything out on our own. Going through this journey inspired me to become a Welcome Office Ambassador because I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate a completely new environment.
I want to represent the international student community and serve as a bridge to help others overcome these challenges, find their sense of belonging, and build meaningful connections. More importantly, I hope to guide international students on their own journeys, helping them find a sense of belonging and eventually call Olomouc their home, just as I have.
