Palacký University is proud to be supporting an important panel discussion entitled "The Cost of War," organized by Ukrainian students to raise awareness about the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The event will take place on April 20th at 6 pm, at Křížkovského 10, room 3.05.
This event is made possible through the collaboration of the Ukrainian students, the Sts Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology, and the Department of Slavonic Studies. Their collaboration has brought together experts in various fields to discuss this critical global issue.
The panel discussion will feature three renowned experts from the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU). Yuriy Pidlisny, Doctor of Philosophy and Head of UCU Political Science Department will provide insights into the philosophical and ethical frameworks behind the conflict. Galyna Protsyk, Doctor of Political Sciences and Head of the Department of International Relations of UCU will discuss diplomacy and international relations in the context of the conflict. Svitlana Khilyuk, Head of Law School UCU, will cover the legal issues and international legal systems involved in the conflict.
The event aims to educate Czech and international students about the situation in Ukraine and increase their understanding of the conflict and the reasons behind Russia's full-scale invasion. Palacký University encourages all interested individuals to attend the event and support this international student initiative. This panel discussion is an important opportunity to learn about the global issues that are affecting our world today and promote understanding and cooperation among nations.
