Dear students,

the first snow has fallen on the mountains and the mornings are getting frosty, so it's a good time to sit in the warmth and read something nice – maybe the university newsletter. There's something for everyone today: we have news for runners and readers, for children and parents, for the playful and the enterprising. We'll invite you to the university anniversary concert and lectures, and you can help us by filling in a really short questionnaire. Thank you for reading us!

View the UP Annual Report 2022 in an attractive graphic format – also in English

Official annual reports are usually a collection of numbers that the average person does not understand. That is why every year UP creates a PR version of the annual report (in Czech), which, with a modern and fresh design and content, tries to present its activities in the field of teaching, science, culture and society, social responsibility and sustainability. Take a look at the highlights of what happened at UP in 2022 in 18 chapters.

New edition of the newsletter of the UP Strategy and Quality Office

This year's third issue (in Czech) informs, for example, that a comprehensive internal quality assessment of all activities will take place at the PF in November as part of the internal quality assessment. It also reminds us that a Sustainable Events Methodology (in Czech) has been developed to help organisers across UP and beyond to organise conferences, workshops or lectures with less negative impact on the planet. The theme of the issue is a questionnaire survey among university partners. Don't forget that you can send your questions and suggestions on the quality assurance and evaluation of activities at UP via the questionnaire. Read the full newsletter in PDF (in Czech).

QUESTIONNAIRES AND SURVEYS

How did you get to the university today? Help calculate UP's carbon footprint

UP has committed to calculating its carbon footprint and working to reduce it. Data on how its students or staff travel to UP is also necessary to calculate it. The Sustainable University has therefore prepared a simple survey (in Czech), open from 16 to 25 October, in collaboration with the Department of Psychology at the UP Faculty of Arts. To obtain telling data, interested parties can ideally fill it in (in Czech) every day.
