The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic announces the preparation of the 16th public call for proposals under the SIGMA Program for the Support of Applied Research and Innovation – Sub-objective 4. The SIGMA Program’s public call – DC4 is focused on supporting international cooperation in applied research by Czech companies and research organizations. The competition announcement is scheduled for April 22, 2026.

The TA CR will publish more information and all conditions for submitting a project proposal on the day the call is announced.
The competition will be announced in the SISTA shared information system. In order for an applicant to create and submit a project proposal, they must meet the system’s new technical requirements – e.g., register their organization and designate its administrators. Without registering the organization and adding organization administrators, it will not be possible to submit a project proposal or draw public funds for applied research projects. We have provided detailed information on all new technical requirements at this article, so we recommend paying close attention to it.

- For project registration purposes, please note that you must submit your project proposal via SISTA to the following email address: ludmila.hrabakova@upol.cz. Without this step, it will not be possible to ensure adequate cooperation with UPOL when submitting a project proposal. Projects in which UPOL acts only as a partner must also be made available.
