On Thursday, March 5, 2026, academic and research staff from UP gathered in the Large Conference Room of the RUP for a roundtable discussion dedicated to GA ČR projects. The meeting provided an opportunity to share experiences from the evaluation of project proposals, present examples of good practice, and offer specific recommendations for project preparation.

In a highly competitive environment, details often make the difference. And insight into the project evaluation process was one of the main benefits of yesterday's meeting. We greatly appreciate the fact that we were able to bring together different perspectives and experiences from across the academic environment. The discussion was greatly enriched by the participation of individuals with extensive experience in project evaluation in GA panels in the Czech Republic.

The following guests accepted our invitation:

Prof. Mgr. Kateřina Vitásková, Ph.D.

Prof. Mgr. Ondřej Bábek, Dr.

Doc. RNDr. Karolína Šišková, Ph.D.

Prof. RNDr. Jan Hlaváč, Ph.D.

Doc. Mgr. et Mgr. Jakub Lysek, Ph.D.

We would like to thank all panelists and participants for an open and stimulating discussion. We look forward to the next meeting!
