Opening of the ERC Synergy Grants 2026 call

In the framework of the European Research Council (ERC) scheme, the ERC Synergy Grants 2026 call has been opened. ERC Synergy Grants are intended for groups of two to four principal investigators who wish to jointly tackle major scientific challenges that are beyond the scope and complexity of an individual. The goal is to bring together diverse professional skills and research resources to solve ambitious scientific problems.

The maximum amount of funding can reach up to €10 million for a period of six years. The grant can cover up to 100 % of eligible direct costs and 25 % of eligible indirect costs.

The deadline for applications is 5 November 2025 at 5:00 pm (CET).

Program Guide.

The Project Service of Palacký University is simultaneously preparing a thematic ERC seminar in September 2025, which will introduce the new ERC 2026 work programme including all announced calls to the scientific and academic community. We will keep you informed about the exact dates.
