Two calls for proposals have been published under the Creative Europe Culture program to support European cooperation projects in the categories of small and medium-sized projects. The calls for proposals support projects involving organizations from the cultural and creative sectors (except audiovisual) of all sizes and from different countries, focusing on sectoral or cross-sectoral activities. Proposals should have a clear cross-border cooperation dimension, as this is at the heart of European cooperation projects.
Support will be given to projects contributing to one of the following objectives:
Objective 1 - Transnational creation and circulation: strengthening the transnational creation and circulation of European works and artists.
Objective 2 – Innovation: strengthening the capacity of the European cultural and creative sectors to develop talent, innovate, prosper, create jobs, and grow.
Projects can be submitted in two categories, which also determine the amount of financial support:
- Small cooperation projects: at least three partners from at least three participating countries, grant max. 80% of eligible costs or max. EUR 200,000
This category is particularly suitable for supporting the participation of organizations at the local level and assisting these organizations in creating new partnerships and developing new activities and innovative ideas (e.g., festivals, art fairs, exhibitions, performances, etc.). - Medium-sized cooperation projects: at least five partners from at least five participating countries, grant max. 70% of eligible costs or max. EUR 1,000,000
Project duration: max. 48 months.
The total budget is €60,273,270 and at least 130 projects will be supported.
Detailed information on the calls for proposals can be found on the Creative Europe website or directly on the Funding and Tenders Portal.
