Would you like to take part in tackling real urban sustainability challenges? Are you interested in the circular economy, land regeneration, and innovative approaches to planning and design? Then the international spring workshop CIRCLE – Circular Infrastructures for Regenerative Cities and Local Ecosystems is just for you. In April 2026, students and academic staff from universities in the Aurora Alliance will meet in Naples to co-design concrete solutions for the sustainable and circular transformation of cities. Apply by January 26 and join them!

The workshop is based on a challenge-based approach – you won’t just listen to lectures, but will work on a real assignment focused on regenerating underused urban areas and creating so-called Circular Infrastructure Hubs. You will learn how to connect environmental goals, urban planning, design, and social needs into functional proposals.

Collaboration with students and teachers from different countries will allow you to broaden your horizons, improve your professional English, and gain valuable international contacts for your further studies and career.

The workshop will be led by experts from the University of Naples Federico II, who have extensive experience in European research projects and practical work in sustainable urban development, circular chains, and brownfield regeneration.

Who is the workshop for?
