We invite you to a panel discussion on populism as a phenomenon of contemporary politics in the USA and Europe and its threat to liberal democracy.

American historian Christian Peterson (Ferris State University), Italian political scientist Mattia Collini (Institut politologických studií FSV UK), political scientist Daniela Ostrá (Filozofická fakulta Univerzity Palackého) and the moderator of this discussion Lukáš Merz (American Center Olomouc) will focus on the roots and forms of populism in selected countries in Europe and the USA.
