We cordially invite you to the inauguration of the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Palacký University Olomouc, doc. JUDr. Václav Stehlík, LL.M., Ph.D., who was elected by the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Law for another four-year term. Associate Professor Václav Stehlík has been associated with the faculty all his professional life. In 2014 he became the head of the Department of International and European Law. In addition to law, he studied English language and literature at the Faculty of Arts of UP and postgraduate LL.M. studies at the University of London focused on European Union law. In 2015 he was awarded the Jean Monnet Chair in Law by the European Commission. He is a laureate of the Bronze Medal of prof. Antonín Randa medal awarded by the Union of Czech Lawyers for his contribution to legal science. His professional activities focus on various aspects of European Union law, be it European constitutional law, the EU judicial system, the relationship between European and national law, the EU internal market, EU external relations or migration law.
