Health Festival for Secondary School Students in the Olomouc Region

25. August

The Health Festival is an interactive, preventive and educational event designed for secondary school students in the Olomouc Region, combining expert information on health, safety, well-being, and sustainability with practical, experiential, and participatory methods.

The main goal of the event is to use engaging methods to foster adolescents’ interest in their own health, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle, while also providing them with a space for open discussion with experts from various health and prevention fields. The Health Festival also targets teachers, who can gain inspiration for their own lessons.
The programme is divided into lecture and interactive sessions and focuses on current topics that directly affect adolescents' lives—healthy nutrition, mental resilience, sexual and reproductive health, skin care and hygiene during adolescence, substance abuse prevention, and the prevention of cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
