Fulbright scholarship programs funded by the Czech and US governments provide Czech citizens with the opportunity to study, conduct research or teach in the US. Scholars are selected in an open competition directly by the Fulbright Commission. Generous scholarships usually cover living expenses, return ticket and health insurance, possibly also some other costs (tuition, etc.) and are usually awarded for a period of three to ten months. Approximately 40 Czech applicants are supported in all programs each year. Applications for individual programs can be submitted in all disciplines – humanities, natural sciences and engineering. 

Faculty of Physical Culture (FTK) UP organizes an information meeting in cooperation with the J. William Fulbright Commission, during which prospective participants will be provided with useful tips for applying for a Fulbright scholarship.
