International Haná (October 9)

Immerse yourself in world cultures throughout the programme of International Haná. Enjoy tailored contributions from university cultural centres, savour cuisines from across the globe, and take in a full day of performances including martial arts, vocal music, folk traditions, and more. This celebration happens only once a year, so bring your friends and family and be part of it. Admission is free. Presented in partnership with the Archdiocesan Caritas Olomouc.

The festival presents a rich, vibrant program that brings together music, dance, and interactive moments into a single immersive experience. Throughout the day, dynamic performances will alternate with creative workshops, blending the magic of traditional cultures with contemporary rhythms so everyone can find something to love. Shared moments will draw the audience in and invite them to experience the festival with all their senses.

The Festival of World Cultures and Flavors is complemented by stands offering something extra. Don't expect food, but knowledge, curiosity, and inspiration. In this section, you will find institutions, schools, and projects that will introduce you to the world of education, cultural diversity, and a sustainable approach to life. There are exhibitions, activities for children and adults, and opportunities to learn something new. Playful and never boring.
Maple Bear – A Canadian-international preschool with instruction in English. It offers creative activities for children and demonstrations of approaches to education in an international environment.
International School Olomouc – An English nursery and primary school in Olomouc. It supports the development of skills, not just knowledge. Learn about their approach to teaching and activities for children and parents.
Haiti Exhibition – Haiti has experienced a series of tragedies, yet its people retain their joy, faith, and strong family ties. The "Pearl of the Caribbean" will captivate you with its colors, contrasts, and quiet resilience of everyday life. Jiří Pasze's photographs capture life in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
