Job-Hunt Workshop

The Welcome Office invites all international students to a practical, interactive Job Hunt Workshop designed to guide you through the key steps of finding employment.

In this session, you will learn:

• How to prepare an effective CV and cover letter that stands out to employers
• Strategies for job searching, including online platforms and networking opportunities
• Common challenges for international students and tips to overcome them
• The different types of employment contracts and what they mean for you
• Which residence permits allow you to work in the Czech Republic, including student permits and how to transfer your permit to a Long-term Residence Permit for the Purpose of Seeking Employment, allowing you to stay and work in the country after graduation

This workshop provides practical tools and insider advice to help international students successfully navigate the Czech job market, understand work eligibility, and launch their careers.
