In Olomouc and in the entire territory of the Czech Republic, there are new measures in effect within the State of Emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic.

From noon on March 18th in Olomouc and as of March 19th in the entire Czech Republic until further notice, it is mandatory to wear face/surgical masks (or at least scarves or bandannas) fully covering the nose and mouth when going out in public.

There are also limitations on entering grocery shops, chemists, and pharmacies. Between the hours of 7 am and 9 am, these establishments are open only to seniors aged 65+, from now until further notice. Younger persons may enter said premises, but only before 10 am and after noon.
