An Anthropological Perspective on Three Mobility Regimes. Workshop with a lecture by Andrea Boscoboinik University of Fribourg, Switzerland

The goal of this presentation is to discuss three different regimes of mobility, including lifestyle mobilities, low skilled seasonal labour migrations, and ordinary everyday mobility, that are practiced in the same region of the Swiss Alps. From an anthropological standpoint, these different mobility patterns would shed light on identity strategies, imaginaries and social practices of mountain inhabitants in this Alpine context.
