Anna Witt: Worst Fear, Best Fantasy

28. July 2021, 19:00 – 21:00

Presentaion and discussion

Presentation of students' projects developed in the course led by Anna Witt at the Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien dedicated to art in public space with a discussion led by the doyen of performative forms Vladimír Havlík. What does the public space mean? How has it changed due to Covid-19? How do we experience it? And what role can art play in it? These are just some of the questions we will try to answer. Part of the evening is a screening of the video We met at Columbusplatz (2021), created by die Angewandte' group of students.

The discussion is moved to the building of the Museum of Modern Art!

Guests: Vladimír Havlík, Anna Witt and students of the Viennese "die Angewandte", Artur Schernthaner-Lourdesamy, Filippo Contatore, Florin Stanzer, Judith Raupp, Joshua Bond, Pia Plankensteiner, with Alice Skreta, Papa G and Max Koller
