The exhibition of 134 photographs shows the individual stages of modern Czech history through images that were forbidden to publish in certain historical epochs. The largest part is devoted to the period of communism, but you can also see pre-war or World War II images. The distinctive space is then devoted to photographs retouched or otherwise significantly modified, including examples of similar practices abroad.
The exhibition which is open for general public, will be on display until 15 November. Descriptions of individual photographs are both in Czech and English.
