| Detailed schedule of the IT Service Week (11-15 August)Necessary regular maintenance and upgrades will require outages of university networks and systems in the second week of August. During the week of Monday, Aug. 11 through Friday, Aug. 15, all UP information systems, including Internet connectivity and single sign-on to information systems, will experience outages from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. A schedule of major and longer-term outages can be found on the UP Portal. (Available in English – switch the language of the UP Portal in the menu in the top right corner.) | | DeepSeek products have been identified as a security threatBased on a warning from the National Cyber and Information Security Bureau, UP is restricting the use of DeepSeek products by direction of the Rector (in Czech) (after login). Their installation and use on work devices (mobile, computer, etc.) that have access to UP's internal information and communication systems is prohibited.
All employees, students and other users are strongly advised not to access the STAG system from their personal devices if they have DeepSeek products installed on them - both via web browser and via the UPlikace mobile app. Please see the UP Portal update for details. Individual places are gradually becoming available, which is why some applications are still in the "undecided" status. Until the end of July, only incoming first-year students have the opportunity to secure accommodation in the dormitories. Starting in August, it will again be possible for students in higher years to reserve a specific place (in limited numbers). If your application status is "approved," you can check the current situation by logging into the ISKAM system. Verify whether a place is available in any of the dormitories. If so, make a reservation immediately, pay the accommodation deposit (reservation fee), and sign the Accommodation Agreement electronically.
Accommodation in dormitories during September is only available on weekdays and during office hours (accommodation is not available at weekends). The earliest date for accommodation is 22 September 2025. Details of the booking process and choosing a date to join dormitories can be found in this article. | | | | Theology online courseDo you want to study theological topics in your free time?
